Introduction

CNI Advisory AB and its affiliates (together “CNI”) recognize the importance of data protection and its ambition is to always maintain appropriate protection of personal data and to comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations. This privacy policy informs you of how your personal data is processed by CNI.

Personal data collected by CNI

CNI collects and processes personal data that are provided to CNI in connection with your business relations with CNI. Personal data may also be collected if you register for events we may sponsor or other sources. Personal data collected and processed by CNI include e.g. name, business-related contact details, information on your role and details of the company or organization that you represent.

Processing of your personal data by CNI

CNI processes personal data for business-related purposes and for administrating and maintaining agreements and business relations with CNI’s customers, suppliers and business partners. Personal data may also be processed in order to send invitations to seminars and similar events. When processing personal data for these purposes, CNI relies on legitimate interests. CNI has a strong interest in maintaining business relationships with other companies and organisations and CNI only processes your business-related information as a representative or contact person of such company or organization.

CNI may for purposes described above disclose your personal data to competent authorities, its group companies, business partners or service provides.  If a business partner or a service provider is located in a country outside the EU/EEA, your personal data may be transferred to a country that does not have data protection laws equivalent to ours. In those cases, CNI will put in place appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data in connection with the transfer. You can at any time contact us for more information on such transfers and the safeguards put in place.

CNI retains personal data as long as there is a business relationship with the company or organization that you represent or otherwise as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing. Personal data will also be retained as long as required by laws, regulations or decisions by authorities. You may at any time unsubscribe from receiving press releases, newsletters and similar information and your information will thereafter not be retained for such purposes.

Your rights and questions regarding personal data

With limited exceptions, you have the right to request information about what personal data that CNI holds about you and request inaccurate information to be corrected. In some circumstances and in accordance with applicable law, you may have the right to request that all your personal data is erased or that the processing of your personal data is restricted. Furthermore, you may have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to request that your personal data is transmitted in a machine-readable format to another controller.
